Cheerios has had the “Clinically PROVEN to Help Reduce Cholesterol!” slogan plastered all over their boxes for a while now and everytime I see it (and the disclaimer at the bottom) I always think they are cheating people.

That is why I coined the phrase “Cheerios Healthy”.  Yes, Cheerios may lower your cholesterol if you eat it instead of this:

Huge Breakfast

but it isn’t that healthy by itself, or compared to items that might be.

I also put Lean Cuisine’s in this “Cheerios Healthy” category as well…it’s not healthy, but it’s smaller than what you’d have for lunch otherwise. I will say that the chicken with peanut sauce is really solid though.
