App I'd like to see: LilSquare.com
An app I’d like would be one to sync my avatar across multiple social services. Twitter or Facebook seem to be the master that services like instagram use when you create your profile, but with more people making statements via profile via (like @orenjacob’s about SOPA below), it would be cool to syndicate across more services.

"Cheerios Healthy"
Cheerios has had the “Clinically PROVEN to Help Reduce Cholesterol!” slogan plastered all over their boxes for a while now and everytime I see it (and the disclaimer at the bottom) I always think they are cheating people.
That is why I coined the phrase “Cheerios Healthy”. Yes, Cheerios may lower your cholesterol if you eat it instead of this:

Why hasn’t Google bought Bit.ly?
Remember when URL length wasn’t a big issue? Twitter changed that with character constraints on messaging (much appreciated btw @ev and @biz) but it was all about tinyurl.com. So the idea of a “shortlink” never really existed before twitter, but it was really changed the way we share and measure links. Super Fast Mobile Apps
More and more, I am struck by the lack of speed in mobile apps. As a near-constant iPhone user (with the ever peppy 3GS), I’ve noticed the significant time it takes to do quick actions.
I love foursquare, but from a cold start (app not already open, on full bars 3G), it takes 27 seconds to check-in. 27 seconds! It loads the splash…

3am at a Super 8 in Wichita...really
Well, it’s almost 3am and there are 6 of us, all on Macs, coding, designing, and tweeting our way through the night. The bus leaves for Austin at 7am for #startupbus chicago, and it’s going to be a long day. My team, FullyFollow.me (we’re trying to make this a verb), is trying the “stable wifi in cheap motels” route vs. the unstable wifi on the road during daylight....
Startup Bus Chicago - Hour 1
Just got on the startupbus chicago at the Rock ‘n Roll McDonald’s and took off for Minneapolis. Since we’re so close to Austin compared to the other buses, we need to kill some time over the next 48 hrs, so we’re visiting the cities.
Just had individual intros and there’s lots of developers, both front and backend, some designers, a few marketing/business people...
